About mir
mir is an AI-enabled app that digitises risk and automates the surveying process. It will radically disrupt the insurer/owner/surveyor relationship by offering a cloud-based, harmonised condition assessment underpinned by defects-detection models and supported by Recommendation Engine.
Our game-changing, data-driven application is geared at emerging technologies and aligns with the principles of circular economy. mir was recognised with Women in Innovation Award 2021 and Innovate UK Smart grant 2022. We have developed a software protype (MVP) that will be soon released to the market. Our condition survey feature will be targeting yachts, but our damage survey feature will be designated for all vessels type.
About the venue
This event will take place onboard the historic MV Havengore in St.Katherine’s Docks. Aptly, the Havengore was specially commissioned by the Port of London Authority in 1954 to act both as its flagship and principal survey vessel. Havengore’s proudest moment so far came in 1965 when, watched live by a worldwide audience of 350 million, she took centre stage as she carried Sir Winston Churchill on his final journey by water along the Thames.
In 2012 the Havengore carried members of the royal family as part of Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations during the River Thames pageant. Once again, the Havengore will take centre stage as the team at Navalmartin showcase their latest technical innovation.
